THE TRADING PLATFORM FOR ENERGY CITIZENS

With the successful commissioning of the solar park, it is always an important issue to enable the citizens of the energy municipality to participate in the energy industry in a self-determined manner, also in the long term.

For this purpose, we have joined forces with our partner cells energy, a subsidiary of the long-established energy transition association renergie Allgäu e.V.. On the marketplace of cells energy, citizens have the opportunity to actively sell surplus electricity to their neighbors as prosumers. If their own electricity is not sufficient, they also can simply buy it back from the cells energy community. This creates a cycle of regional value creation where citizens of the municipality can strengthen each other and organize themselves in a responsible and self-determined manner.

In this manner, we would like to sustainably promote the acceptance of the expansion of renewable energies as well as the application of local electricity tariffs.
