Solar Power for the Energy Transition
The Frankenförde Solar Park is a flagship project of the energy transition – and a milestone for securenergy. As the company’s first major solar park, it symbolizes the ambition to realize sustainable energy projects with foresight, technical excellence, and corporate responsibility.
Located southwest of Berlin in the municipality of Nuthe-Urstromtal, the solar park combines optimal site conditions with state-of-the-art photovoltaic technology. With an installed capacity of 41 MWp, the plant produces over 42 GWh of climate-friendly solar power annually. Frankenförde thus makes a measurable contribution to CO₂ reduction and to the secure, independent energy supply of tomorrow.
The project’s development spanned five years – from the initial idea to final implementation. Even more impressive is the on-site realization: Thanks to close cooperation with the strong JV partner SUNOTEC, the solar park was built in a record construction time of just five months.
This exceptional pace underscores the high implementation competence and perfectly coordinated project management of all involved parties.
A central technical element was the construction of its own substation, which ensures a powerful, future-proof grid connection. Directly adjacent are several large rooftop installations, also realized by securenergy – a visible sign of holistic, networked energy solutions.
The Frankenförde Solar Park stands for more than clean electricity: it stands for partnership, speed, and securenergy’s commitment to actively shaping the energy transition.
